Design Notes

The nucleotide sequence contains one EcoRI site in the original sequence. We did a single nucleotide mutation to change the EcoRI site, without affecting the amino acid sequence.

Source

The Beta-glucosidase (bgl1A) gene is from a marine bacterium, Saccharophagus Degradans 2-40 (ATCC 43961). The amino acid sequence of the protein is available in NCBI under NCBI Reference Sequence: WP_011470073.1 or in KEGG under Sde_3603.
